Tips to Overcome Recurring Dreams
We all have dreams. Often we can not remember them, but on occasion upon waking the details are still fresh on our minds. Once in a while we experience a dream that not only stays with us upon waking but reoccurs night after night. If this happens to you it is possible to overcome these recurring dreams. One popular method of understanding a recurring dream is to keep a journal. In fact, it is often one of the best ways to understand your dreams. In the morning when you wake simply write down everything you remember including sight, sounds, and smells. A dream journal will allow you to go back and evaluate what happened and what it could mean. Keep in mind that your subconscious talks to you with symbolism, you many need to figure out what it is trying to tell you. Take the time to evaluate each item that seems to have some significance. It may also be helpful to reference a dream book. While the definitions found there are generalized and may not fit you personally it will give you a jumping off point. Once you have decoded the message it is very like that the recurring dream will stop.
