Understanding Nightmares and a Few Tips to Stop Them

Do you have nightmares that keep you awake at night? You can actually stop them from happening by performing simple steps.
1)Stress- This is the most common so you should try some stress-relieving tactics.
2)Make a list of things to remember- Have a hectic tomorrow? Then write the stuff down. It helps more than you know.
3)Take a hot bath an hour before your bedtime- Add some nice aromatherapy and you should fall right to sleep.
4)Try some white noise- You can also try some naturalistic noise like waves crashing or nighttime jungle sounds
5)Meditation- Enroll in a meditation class and see if that helps. People have practiced this method for thousands of years.

And that brings us to the next topic. Understanding the dreams you’re having. Everyone has had a weird dream or two. That doesn’t mean there is something wrong with us. In fact, it means we are normal. Nightmares actually tell us what is wrong with our lives and it shows us what we need to repair it. This is called self-affirmation. Try writing your own ending. While your in your dream, try to make it turn out the way you want it to. Then try to connect what is new in your life that could be causing the nightmares and repair it. This is caused resolution.
