Understanding REM Sleep
Something you cannot identify is chasing you. Your legs will not go any faster. Just when this thing reaches out, you wake up! Scientists call this stage of sleep the Rapid Eye Movement phase. Usually about seventy minutes into sleep your eyes have rapid movement and breathing becomes irregular.
